Sondrestrom AB, Greenland. A second home for the Firebirds from 1962 through 1975 was BW-8. 17th TCS and TAS crews rotated in and out of Sondrestrom on a regular basis to provide support for Dewline sites DYE 2 and DYE 3. The normal TDY was a two week stay. |
